The View from 58A Homeward Bound June 18th 2012

Over Iraq and into Turkish airspace...

A dramatic change of scenery as the aircraft nears the Iraqi border with Turkey. Desert sands turn into hilly scrub-lands before flying over the snow capped mountains of southern Turkey. The first cloud appears since leaving Mumbai, some five hours ago now, and note the extensive forrest fire in the distance.
