Afternoon tea over, time to continue the journey towards Nelson along highway 6. "A route that takes us inland, up into the hills and down a gorge with our next stop at Murchison", explains the driver. And with the sun behind us the afternoon golden glow does everything to enhance the awe-inspiring scenery. Looks as though Nelson will be after sunset.
