There is a little place of solace, its at the estuary to the Melaka river just about 10 minutes walking from the town park. Once having negotiated the hoards of tourists and avoiding getting run down by a boy riding a tourist rickshaw type bike then just follow the river towards and under the flyover A very peaceful part of town, especially at sunset.
