Afternoon Tea at Punakaiki....
Leaving Greymouth on the afternoon bus for a 6 hour ride north to Nelson. Another scenic ride along the rugged coastline bordering the Pacific Ocean. Afternoon tea for some, lunch for others is at Punakaiki, a good spot for photos according to the driver. Pancake rocks and blowholes is what this place is renowned for, not just expensive food and drink! A major tourist stop with cars and buses parked up along the highway, which thankfully isn't particularly busy.
